Friends! Large-Scale Puppet Coming to Buttercup Park 4901 N. Sheridan Road 3:45pm Friday, September 13, 2024
Join us for the birth date of Red Line Service's large-scale,12-foot puppet of care. This is the first time the puppet will be out in the world, and we are so honored to share it with you. It is the puppet's first day of life, and we invite you to join us at 3:45pm in Buttercup Park, to sing, dance and play alongside it. Learn about the way it works, and help the puppet figure out how to be in the world, and how to care for the people it encounters and the world it exists within. Ask questions of the funnest puppeteers ever, suggest names for the puppet, and join us for some snacks. No RSVP required.
The puppet was conceived as part of Designing Belonging, a Red Line Service program supported by the Art Design Chicago initiative of the Terra Foundation for American Art.
